Independence Day in Photos

Since the 4th of July landed on a Sunday, our church decided instead of an evening service we would do a picnic for lunch and on into the afternoon. It was wonderful! Natalie had her face painted, bounced in a castle and got her picture drawn. Zachary and Natalie munched on watermelon and corn on the cob. Jon and I participated in a watermelon eating contest- neither of us won, but I was pretty proud to be the only woman brave enough to enter! It was an awesome way to spend this special day! And Zachary was better then we expected, we were able to stay until just after 3, it went until 4 officially. Happy Independence day!
